  • For each of my classes I demonstrate each step to be done. 

  • Quilting students like and appreciate the sequential samples I have for them to look at and touch. 

  • Every step of every quilting project is easy to learn and is clear to every student.

Classes and Lectures:

Class offerings include:

  • Beginners: Raggity edge flannel technique and Irish Chain 9-patch.
  • Advanced Beginners: Portrait Whimsy, Drunkard's Path, Curves from strips, Southwest Icons, Quail Trail, Tumbling Blocks (no "Y" seams method).
  • Intermediate to Advanced: Radiant Suns, Lone Star (no "Y" seams method), Crossword Puzzle Quilt.

How to rate your quilting skill level:

Beginning – Little or no experience with quilt making.
Advanced  Beginning – Experience with rotary cutter and piecing.
Intermediate – Comfort doing interpretation of patterns and designs.
Advanced – Comfort with all levels of designing, sewing and creating quilts.

I will be happy to teach a class on any of my quilts as seen in the Quilt Photo Gallery.  Some of the more complex projects are best done in 2 day class format.  Contact me for details and to arrange for classes.


$30/hour. Most classes range from 4-5 hours each day.
Any other fees (transportation and housing) to be arranged as deemed appropriate.

Fees for Fund Raising Classes:

$45 / student, half of which will be donated to Breast Cancer Research, Relay for Life, or the American Heart Association.
Travel and housing costs are to be covered by the hosting quilt shop or sponsoring organization.
